Clinical Skills Evaluation for UK Foundation Programme (UKFP)

  • This course is aimed for Doctors who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria and are accepted for the UK Foundation programme.
  • Our aim is to refresh their skills and knowledge needed to start working as a F1 Doctor.
  • We have carefully designed this clinical assessment course to impart the F1 Doctor all the necessary encountered examinations, procedures, clinical skills and communication skills that they would come across in their F1 year.

The course will run on the span of two days from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Day 1

Focusing on Clerking; history taking (long + focused)
11:45 - 1:15
Simulations: Medical emergency stations on mannequin
2:00 - 4:00
Procedures: Catheterisations, Cannulations
4:30 - 6:30
Communications & Interpretations: breaking bad news, confirming death, handling difficult patients, ABG , ECG and Chest X – ray interpretations

Day 2

Examinations: Cardio-respiratory, Gastro, Neurological, MSK
11:45 - 1:15
ISBAR & Simulations completion
2:00 - 4:00
Procedures: ABG & NG tubes insertion
4:30 - 6:30
Communications & Interpretations: medical prescriptions, CT and ultrasound

Cost

Face -2 – Face £220 per person for two days (£20 block discount on bookings of 5)

Virtual £150 per person for two days (£50 block discount on bookings of 5)
